GRS Montréal announces expansion of the Centre Métropolitain de Chirurgie and Asclépiade

Montreal, QC – June 16, 2017

GRS Montréal management is proud to announce the launch of our project to expand and redevelop the Centre Métropolitain de Chirurgie (CMC), the Asclépiade convalescent home, and its medical offices located at 999, 995 De Salaberry Street and 908 Gouin Boulevard in Montreal.

Work will begin on June 19, 2017 and will continue until the spring of 2018.

Our source of motivation comes from our clients

In recent years, we have been pleased to observe that the demand for gender affirming surgery, as well as interest and confidence in our surgical and care teams, have continuously grown. Access to surgery and care is a priority for our organization. Every effort has been made in the last few months to make this project possible. In order to expand access to surgery and to better respond to the needs of clients who wish to undergo gender affirming surgery, the work will increase our number of operating rooms, our hospital and convalescent beds, as well make possible the creation of a day surgery unit.

A Centre in transformation, same quality of care and services

In order to maintain access to surgery, all activities of the organization will continue during the period of expansion. Rest assured that throughout the course of this work, all efforts will be made to avoid disturbing the peace of our clients. Safety, quality of care, and services will be maintained, as well as the privacy and confidentiality of our clients.
