  • 1. Can I undergo a mastectomy even if I am not taking masculinizing hormones?

    No, it is not necessary unless you are between the ages of 16 and18. In this case, you will have had to have been taking them continuously for at least 1 year prior to your procedure.

  • 2. Will I be able to pierce my nipples after my surgery?

    We recommend to never pierce the operated area as this may damage the sensitivity of the nipples. If you still wish to have a piercing despite the risk, please wait at least 9-12 months after surgery.
